Opened last February, with a two Michelin star chef at the controls, this is simple British food at its best. The majority of wines are organic and biodynamic, from small growers that have some really good stuff. Located only 20 minutes from central London, in this very picturesque village, with fantastic shops for an after lunch stroll, it’s a great spot.
Real traditional English pub. They have a huge range of hand pulled real ales, including all the Young’s favourites as well as guest beers from brewers both national and micro. They change regularly ensuring they are served in tip top condition.
Po Na Na is a small Moroccan-styled souk bar with live music, cocktails, and a young, intimate and buzzing atmosphere.
With bands and musicians sometimes booked to play, the atmosphere can get quite lively; whether it’s jazz, Cuban music or the DJ that spins tracks till the early hours at the weekend, there’s entertainment to keep the mood high. A cosmopolitan crowd mill around to the music and enjoy drinks, whilst groups of friends tuck into meals in the dining area.
The staff are always cheerful and friendly, the food is fresh served very quickly so it’s a great place to go for a quick lunch. They do tasty breakfasts too. Definitely worth a visit and it’s also lovely to sit outside on a hot summer’s day and watch the world go by.

The New Wimbledon Theatre is situated on The Broadway in the London Borough of Merton. It is a Grade II listed Edwardian theatre built by the theatre lover and entrepreneur, J B Mullholland. The theatre has approximately 1,700 seats across three levels, making it the eighth largest theatre in London.
